The rules of the road. By creating a BeerLo account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

By creating a BeerLo account or using the app, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use BeerLo, in line with our App Store age rating, and you must comply with the laws of your jurisdiction. Features that touch alcohol are intended for users who are of legal drinking age where they live.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, including keeping the phone number on it secure. Don't impersonate someone else, don't share your account, and don't create multiple accounts to evade blocks or moderation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

User-generated content

You retain ownership of the content you post — usernames, photos, chat messages, comments, reactions. By posting content in BeerLo, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the app, solely to operate and improve the service. You can remove most content yourself; deleting your account anonymizes content tied to you.

No tolerance for abuse or objectionable content

BeerLo has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. If you encounter either, tap the content's ⋯ menu → Report, block the user from their profile, or email beerlo346@gmail.com. We review reports within 24 hours and take action — content removal, warnings, account suspensions, or permanent bans — as appropriate.

App Store and EULA

BeerLo is distributed through the Apple App Store. Unless you and BeerLo have agreed to a separate written license, your use of BeerLo on iOS is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for BeerLo or its content. BeerLo, not Apple, is responsible for the app, support, and any product warranties to the extent any apply.

No warranty

BeerLo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that game records or ELO ratings will be preserved indefinitely.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeerLo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including lost data or lost bragging rights. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid BeerLo in the twelve months before the claim, which for free users is zero.

Safety reminder

BeerLo is a scoreboard, not a bartender. Never drink and drive. Never pressure anyone to drink. Follow the laws in your jurisdiction. If you or someone you're playing with is struggling with alcohol, please reach out to a professional or, in the US, call or text the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.

Termination

You can stop using BeerLo at any time by deleting your account. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, New York.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and notify users in the app for significant updates.
